1. Select the gear icon located in the upper right corner of the course and click Turn Editing On from the dropdown menu.
2. Identify the assignment you wish to modify and click the Edit hyperlink on the far right; click Edit settings.
3. Locate and expand the Grade section.
4. Make sure the Type drop-down menu is set to Point, then enter the number of points possible in the Maximum points field.
5. Click either of the Save buttons at the bottom of the page.
