Audio Setup Wizard

  1. Access the meeting room from the link your instructor has provided in your course.
  2. Select the word Meeting in the navigation bar at the top of the screen and choose “Audio Setup Wizard” from the drop down menu.
  3. Review each page closely and perform any action required, then select the Next button in the bottom, right-hand corner of the window to continue.
  4. The first step of the Audio Setup Wizard ensures that your computer can play sound. Select the Play Sound button. Select Next when you verify that you can hear sound.

  1. The second step of the Audio Setup Wizard ensures that your microphone functions properly. Choose your microphone from the drop-down list on the screen.

  1. Select the Record button, then choose the Allow button in the pop-up window that appears.

    1. Speak into the microphone, then select the Stop button.
    2. When finished, select the Play Recording button to verify that the microphone worked.
    3. Select the Next button in the bottom, right-hand corner of the window.
    4. The final step is to tune the silence level. To do this, you will be asked to select the Test Silence
      button. This should be done in a quiet place with relative silence. Once it has been recorded, select the Next button, at which point you will have completed the Audio Setup Wizard. Select the Finish button to close the window.
