Adobe Connect: How to Make Recordings Available to Students

Instructors can access their Adobe Connect recordings as well as change the availability settings through the Adobe Connect site.

 

Accessing Adobe Connect Recordings

1. Log in to Adobe Connect at http://thelearninghouse.adobeconnect.com

2. Click the Meetings tab, and then click on the name of the meeting for which you have created a recording.

3. Above the gray Meeting Information bar, click the Recordings link.

 

Making Recordings Available to Students

1. By default, the recording is private, as noted in the Access column. Check the box to the left of the name of your recording to open it so that your students can access it. Click the Access Type button, select Public, and then click Save.

2. Now, click the name of your recording to go to the Recording Information page. Here you can access the URL for Viewing (link) to provide to your students.

 

Troubleshooting

My students cannot access the recording.

  • Please make sure the recording is set to Public. Please provide the link to the recording in your course to allow student access..

My recording is not present.

  • Please make sure to click on the correct meeting. Adobe Connect does not record automatically – it must be set to record during the session.
